Ndoro: Give up and acknowledge Kaizer Chiefs as PSL winners
Highlands Park striker Tendai Ndoro believes this season should be called off and Kaizer Chiefs declared league champions.
The current campaign is suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic with no indication of when sport will restart.
There has been talk that football could resume in South Africa behind closed doors but Ndoro feels players' health must come first.
He told the Daily Sun: "What is important should be human life first. It’s not nice my brother.
"This thing [coronavirus] is not going away anytime soon. We must just protect ourselves.
"Football is a contact sport and even if you can play behind closed doors, that would still pose serious threats."
Chiefs current top the PSL standings with 48 points after 22 games and Ndoro says Amakhosi must be handed the title.
The Highlands marksman said: "There is nothing that we can do except to give up and acknowledge Chiefs as winners."
