'No Letsholonyane contract talks yet'
Reneilwe Letsholonyane's agent is unable to provide an update on the future of his client, with talks over the resumption of 2019/20 Premier Soccer League season still up in the air.
The 37-year-old former Bafana star, who excelled while at Kaizer Chiefs, with close to 200 caps, has since played for SuperSport United and Highlands Park.
He joined the Lions of the North at the beginning of the season on a year-long contract, but with all sporting activities still suspended as a result of COVID-19, Letsholonyane's contract is fast running out.
'Yeye' made 14 appearances in all competitions for Highlands this season.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma, Steve Kapeluschnik said all talks are on hold.
He explained: "Look Yeye’s contract is up at the end of the season.
"The club are not doing business at the moment, but we should have a clearer picture soon.
"With Covid-19, we know what the situation is."
Letsholonyane played for a number of clubs rom Jomo Cosmos to Hellenic, ahead of signing for Amakhosi in 2008.
