Manzini eager to fulfill overseas dream
Rhulani Manzini has no intention of retiring as he entertains offers from both local and overseas clubs having last played for Chippa United.
The 32-year-old former Jomo Cosmos, Platinum Stars and AmaZulu striker left the Chilli Boys in December 2019.
Speaking to Goal, Manzini reflected on his career thus far before adding he has plenty more to give, whether or not he plays in South Africa or abroad.
He said: "I have not retired, I'm still active. I'm currently training at home since it's a lockdown. I still have at least five years to play.
"There are offers locally and in the Middle East. So, as soon as the lockdown ends, I will be ready. It seems outside [overseas] will be the first option."
Manzini added: "I started in the NFD in 2010. I'm not really satisfied with my achievements. I think I could have done more, but I'm thankful to God for the talent he has given me.
"My dream for was going to Europe unfortunately that opportunity never came."
