Magubane: Everybody misses football
AmaZulu midfielder Siphelele Magubane is hoping to get back to action soon after revealing he has found it tough going being without football and his family.
The 27-year-old former Golden Arrows winger joined Usuthu in January and made five appearances before the Premier League was suspended as the world came to grips with the coronavirus.
There is no date yet set as to when the league can resume, with Magubane last playing in a shock 1-0 victory over PSL leaders Kaizer Chiefs, in March.
Speaking to the club's official website, Magubane explained: "Honestly speaking, it has not been easy because we have had to put everything on hold.
"It has also been difficult not being able to see my daughter for such a long time.
"On top of that, I also miss football. Everybody misses football.
"But we all have to respect the regulations of the state regarding the lockdown until it's safe enough to play again.
"I am hoping that football resumes in the country soon."
AmaZulu entered the enforced break in 15th place on the PSL standings with 23 points and six games to play. Black Leopards sit bottom with 20 points.
