Ncube working his way back to full fitness
AmaZulu midfielder Butholezwe Ncube says he is recovering well from the foot injury he sustained in March.
The 28-year centre-mid welcomed the enforced break, as a result of the coronavirus, as it allowed him time to recuperate.
The Zimbabwe international had to be substituted in the 1-0 win against Kaizer Chiefs in AmaZulu's last game before lockdown.
Speaking to the club's official website, Ncube said: "I got injury just above the ankle outside my right leg.
"But I am feeling stronger now and I am enjoying doing rehabilitation work all thanks to God.
"[The break enforced by] Covid-19 [outbreak] has also helped me a lot because I am recovering well."
Ncube was also positive when reflecting on some of his team's performances this season, despite their lowly position of 15th place on the Premier Soccer League standings.
Ncube added: "Our performance has been great. We have done well as a team and it doesn’t matter which position we currently find ourselves in on the league log.
"All that matters is us changing things so that we can be safe in the league, and we are keeping each other focused.
"We don't entertain negativity. We remain positive and we believe that we shall give our best when the league resumes."
