No contract offer on the table for Mbhele at Stars
The agent of Sifiso Mbhele at Free State Stars, Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi, has revealed that the club are yet to offer him a new contract with his deal set to expire in June.
Mbhele has been at the side since 2015 where he joined them from previous employers Polokwane City. However, he has struggled for playing time in 2015 and has managed just six appearances.
Yet, his fortunes could be changing for the better as he started Ea Lla Koto's last match against Bidvest Wits under new coach Nikola Kavazovic last Saturday. The Clever Boys came out on top in a 2-1 victory.
Mulovhedzi of Rush Hour Sports Management told Kickoff: "Sifiso Mbele's contract ends in June.
"We have not yet started talking but it ends in June. So which means if there's nothing happening with him we will look further.
"We are waiting for them to tell us what is their plan with Sifiso.
"Then if nothing comes up we will look for other teams, but he is happy he wants to stay at Free State Stars."
During his time with Stars, the 31-year-old has managed 43 Premiership appearances though he is yet to get off the mark for the side.
