Polokwane City v Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila
Polokwane City will look to continue their impressive season under coach Jozef Vukusic when they meet Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in Wednesday's Nedbank Cup Round of 32 clash at the Pietersburg Stadium in Polokwane.
Rise and Shine come into the contest having held Premiership leaders Bidvest Wits to a 3-3 draw last Sunday, as City continue to punch above their weight under Vukusic.
Meanwhile, fortunes are less positive for National First Division outfit Tshakhuma, who sacked their coach Sello Chokoe earlier this week following a poor run of form.
CEO Livhuwani Madzuhe told Kickoff: "I think we gave them the mandate on the last two games, which was the game when we played.
"The one which we drew this week, and after we lost against Uthongathi we had a meeting with the technical team, and we had discussions where there was two options in the team because the results were not coming."
With that said, Vukusic is taking nothing for granted on home soil: "Our job is just to focus on each game we play and not worry about many things."
In team news, the hosts may hope that forward Charlton Mashumba is able to get on the scoresheet after signing from Jomo Cosmos in January.
For the visitors, it appears there will be an interim coach in charge following the sacking of Chokoe. Wednesday's cup tie gets underway from 19:30 in Pietersburg.
