Free State Stars v Richards Bay
Free State Stars will hope to end some poor form under coach Nikola Kavazovic when they face unknown quantities Richards Bay in Saturday's Nedbank Cup Round-of-32 clash at Goble Park.
The hosts come into the contest in some abysmal form having lost four of their last five matches, which includes a 5-0 hammering at the hands of Cape Town City in their previous Premiership outing.
Stars have the worst defence in South Africa's Premiership having conceded 29 times in 18 league matches in 2018/19.
As such, Kavazovic appears to be trying to address the issue with central defender Simisani Mathumo signing from Township Rollers earlier this week.
27-year-old Mathumo is Botswana's captain and played under Kavazovic during their time together with Rollers in 2017/18.
Meanwhile, little is known about Richards Bay aside from the fact they are seventh in the NFD and Michael Boy Gumede is the club's top scorer with five league goals in 16 appearances.
The side progressed to this round of the competition after Sbonelo Ngubane's winning goal against Royal Eagles in December.
Saturday's action between the two teams is set to get underway from 15:00 in Bethlehem.
