Nthethe not willing to hang up his boots just yet
Former Mamelodi Sundowns star Thabo Nthethe says he is hopeful of continuing his Premiership career by finding another club to play for in 2018/19.
Nthethe has managed just 10 PSL appearances for both Sundowns and Chippa United respectively over the last two seasons suggesting his career was coming to a close.
The 34-year-old was released by Chippa in the January transfer window though he was on the verge of signing for Baroka, before he failed a medical.
The veteran centre-back has a groin injury but is seemingly on the road to fitness at it stands. The ex-Brazilian can sign for any team outside of the transfer window as he is a free agent.
Speaking to Kickoff, the Bloemfontein-born star hinted he had no thoughts of retirement: "I'm still planning for the future.
"I do not have that pressure of having to sign [for a club] in January. I'm still planning, so we'll see how things go."
Nthethe could potentially be a valuable asset as he boasts plenty of experience of playing in South Africa's top flight since he made his debut for Bloemfontein Celtic in 2009/10.
