Rama-G ‘depressed and embarrassed’ by Rise and Shine

Polokwane City striker Rodney Ramagalela says he is depressed and embarrassed due to the club's policy of not allowing him to train with the first team squad.

Since signing a pre-contract agreement to join Highlands Park at the end of 2018/19, it seems City have no intention of letting him play for the side again in any capacity.

According to Soccer Laduma sources, club boss Johnny Mogaladi is not happy that the forward signed the deal with the Lions of the North and has banned him from participating in first team training.

Ramagalela said to Metro FM: "I am confused, and it looks like everyone along with the coaches doesn't know what is happening.

"Maybe it is only the chairman. But I have not spoken to him face to face since June last year.

"I have been depressed by the whole situation. It is disappointing and embarrassing that the club can treat me this way."

Despite not having the presence of the prolific striker available, City are seventh in the Premiership standings under coach Josef Vukusic, the winner of the PSL Coach of the Month for October.
