Mobara joins Cape Town City
Cape Town City have confirmed the signing of utility player Abbubaker Mobara from Orlando Pirates on a four-year-deal.
Mobara, who hails from Mitchells Plain and graduated from the Ajax Cape Town youth academy, will be returning home after a difficult three seasons with the Soweto giants in which he failed to break in to the first team.
City announced the news on their official Twitter account: "Cape Town City is delighted to announce the signing of Abbubaker Mobara on a 4 year deal. We look forward to working with him for the upcoming season and many more to come. #WelcomeHomeMobara."
The 25-year-old, who has won eight Bafana Bafana caps, made only eight appearances for the Buccanneers in the 2018/2019 campaign.
