Mosimane wants Sirino to control his on-field emotions
Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane has urged Gaston Sirino to control his emotions and temperament on the field of play.
Sirino, who hails from Uruguay, is a key part of the Sundowns side but could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines as he has two disciplinary charges from the PSL hanging over him.
The charges relate to the attacking midfielder's behaviour in the match against SuperSport United in September.
In quotes published on Kickoff, Mosimane said: "Gaston is our biggest influence; all he needs to manage is his temperament.
"Like, the game against Highlands Park [last month], I had to warn him that, 'You're going to have all those follow-through and late tackles after you've released the ball.'
"And, not tackles that are bad for red cards or whatever, but it's one of those hard games and I had to call him to say, 'You must understand, these are games where such things happen.'"
The PSL are expected to announce the findings of Sirino's case in the coming days.
