Chiefs win Q1-Innovation award

Absa Premiership runaway leaders Kaizer Chiefs have won the 2019/20 Absa Premiership Q-Innovation award for the first quarter of the season, their first time in four seasons.

The last time the Amakhosi won the award was in the 2014/15 season when they lifted the league title under Stuart Baxter.

Chiefs picked up 19 points from eight fixtures – two points more than second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns, who finished with 17 points from the same number of matches.
