Bafana coach Ntseki: 'We just hope and pray'
Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki is sensitive to the current Coronavirus crisis but can't but help feel frustrated.
The South African international manager was looking forward to working with his squad for what was supposed to be an AFCON qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe.
But with football activities all over the world suspended; rather than hold his fourth training camp, Ntseki has been forced to revive his plans.
He told the Sowetan: "One is obviously disappointed because there are a number of things I wanted to do with the players during our sessions.
"We have had limited time working the players since I have been in charge so the more time spent with the team working on our philosophy would have been good."
He added: "It's really been disappointing to have some disruptions during my reign as Bafana coach. But what else can we do? We just hope and pray that things come right."
This is the second time Ntseki has seen a camp cancelled after xenophobic violence in South Africa meant a September friendly against Zambia was called off.
