Ncikazi: Shitolo is more than a player for us
Golden Arrows are hopeful of extending the loan of Orlando Pirates defender Gladwin Shitolo to allow him to remain with the club.
The 30-year-old right-back joined Abafana Bes-thende at the beginning of the season after a previous spell, also on loan in 2016.
He has been a leading light for the struggling Premier Soccer League side, who entered the enforced break, as a result of the coronavirus, in 13th on the 16-team league table.
Shitolo played 25 games in all competitions for Bakgaga this season and Arrows assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi is naturally keen to retain the player's services, with his current deal set to expire.
Speaking to KickOff, Ncikazi said: "I've worked with Shitolo before, this is his second spell with us, he is a great human being.
"He's more than a player for us, he influences the team positively and is a very professional player. I would like to see him staying permanently in the team."
He added: "I wouldn't know about movements, only management can respond to that, but I haven't heard of any player leaving us."
