Majoro back in training with Usuthu

AmaZulu media officer Brilliant Mkhathini says Lehlohonolo Majoro has returned to train with the Premier Soccer League side.

The 33-year-old striker was placed on 'special training' with the club's reserve team earlier in the season, alongside Jabulani Ncobeni, Michael Morton, Thembela Sikhakhane and Nhlanhla Vilakazi.

But Majoro has now been recalled to the first team, while goalkeeper Moeneeb Josephs has been handed a contract as assistant manager until the end of the season.

Mkhathini told Soccer Laduma: "Lehlohonolo Majoro is back at training with the rest of the squad and is looking quite focused and ready to go as it is the case with the rest of the squad."

Ncobeni and Sikhakhane have also since also returned to the first team, but Morton and Vilakazi were released.

"Yes, the two guys' contracts were not renewed and we wish them well in their future endeavours,” added Mkhathini.

Regarding Josephs, team manager Qedi Dlamini added: "We've offered him a contact to remain as our assistant coach until the end of the season and we are waiting for him."
