Gyimah in talks for new Leopards deal
Edwin Gyimah is in negotiations with Black Leopards to secure a new deal at the Premiership club for next season.
The 29-year-old centre-back has impressed for Lidoda Duvha this season despite their precarious position on the league standings.
Leopards entered the enforced break, as a result of the coronavirus, in bottom spot in the PSL, with 20 points from 24 games, three adrift of Baroka, Polokwane City and AmaZulu.
As teams gear up to return to competitive action, Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi revealed a number of clubs are interested in his client - but that Leopards have first option on the former Orlando Pirates defender.
Mulovhedzi told Soccer Laduma: "For now we are focusing on finishing the league and we will take it from there.
"Even Leopards have offered us a contract, but we are still in negotiations.
"But Leopards are the team that has first option on the player. They are the ones who gave him an opportunity to showcase his talent, so we will listen to their offers first."
Mulovhedzi added: "Edwin signed a short term deal with Leopards.
"There were teams in the PSL that were keen on signing him and a top team in Kuwait also wanted to sign him."
