Nguso excited to score goals for Baroka
Lungelo Nguso is excited and 'grateful' to be afforded the chance to play in the Absa Premiership with Baroka.
The 21-year-old was rewarded for banging in 20 goals from 22 matches to make him the current top-goal scorer in the Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League, with Bizana Pondo Chiefs.
Following his arrival at Baroka on Thursday, Nguso told FARPost he is determined to repay Bakgaga for their faith in signing him.
He said: "I am grateful and I can't even explain how happy I am to get a chance to play in the Premier Soccer League.
"I will try to do more for Baroka I cannot disappoint the club because they believe in my talent, so I want to give them what they want and that is to score as many goals as I can."
Nguso added: "What makes me happy is to play in the PSL at my age and this will inspire me to improve more, who knows? Maybe one day I will play for the national team or go abroad, you never know."
Nguso signed a three-year deal with Baroka, who entered the enforced break as a result of the coronavirus, in 13th place on the 16-team league.
