Robinson: Our keepers support each other
Wendell Robinson says the goalkeepers at Mamelodi Sundowns are a tight knit group with a shared responsibility.
The Brazilians have a wealth of experience in their keeper department, with Kennedy Mweene, Dennis Onyango, Reyaad Pieterse and Abram Ngcobo all on the Premiership champions' books.
Sundowns have also reportedly snapped up Bidvest Wits goalkeeper Ricardo Goss to add even more competition to the number one jersey at the club.
Speaking to the Sundowns official website, the Sundowns goalkeeper coach says the players under his charge are fully aware of the importance of the position.
Robinson said: "The goalkeeping department is very close because we know the nature of that position. That is one mistake means it's a goal.
"So they are very supportive of each other because they know what it takes to play for such a big team and the pressure that's put on you. So they don't like to have added pressure on each other by not being close and not supportive of each other."
