Malepe content to stay at Chippa on loan
South Africa under-23 captain Tercious Malepe says he doesn't mind where he is playing as long as he is getting regular first-team football at the highest level.
Orlando Pirates defender Malepe is currently on loan at Chippa United where he made 25 appearances in all competitions last season. Pirates have opted not to recall him from his loan but Malepe is not worried as he believes regular gametime at this stage of his career is in the best interests of his development.
Malepe is still only 22 and has already been in the junior national team setup for three years where he has established himself as one of under-23 coach David Notoane's most trusted lieutenants, being rewarded with the armband for the COSAFA Cup tournament that recently concluded.
"I can't really comment on my future, I will wait on my parent club," Malepe told KickOff.
"But anything that comes my way I will be ready as long as I'm playing. I don't really care which side as long as I'm competing I will be happy."
