Kaizer Chiefs v TS Galaxy
Ernst Middendorp's Kaizer Chiefs will be aiming to end their trophy drought when they lock horns with NFD outfit TS Galaxy in the Nedbank Cup final on Saturday night.
The Amakhosi faithful are desperate to see their team claim a piece of silverware this year after a disappointing ninth-place finish in the 2018/19 Premiership campaign.
And Middendorp will have the luxury of an almost fully-fit squad to choose from, with many of Amakhosi's players potentially playing for their future at the club.
However, long-term absentees Itumeleng Khune, Happy Mashiane and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo remain on the treatment table.
Middendorp told reporters: "I think in every camp, in particular here, the experience is that when you play in a derby against Orlando Pirates, or you play in a cup final, there are no absences in terms of injuries.
"Everybody is available. No issues. No nothing... Flu, nothing, everybody. The entire squad, as I said, before the week you go to a cup final or play a derby, or the bigger games, everybody is available."
While TS Galaxy are the underdogs in the much anticipated final, midfielder Nation Ndlovu believes the match will be won or lost in the centre of the park.
"I think the game will be won or lost in the midfield," Ndlovu told Sowetan Live. "It's important to keep a close eye on a player like Katsande.
"My job is to do the dirty work for the team and I am ready."
He continued: "It's our first final. we are not here by mistake. We cannot afford to squander this wonderful journey at the final hurdle.
"So I am optimistic we will be crowned champions on Saturday."
