Real Kings v Bidvest Wits

Bidvest Wits will need to guard against complacency on Friday night when they take on Real Kings in the quarter-final stage of the Nedbank Cup.

The Clever Boys will travel to Durban to battle it out with Real Kings at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium as they aim for a spot in the final four of the competition.

Gavin Hunt's charges are strong favourites and should take some momentum into the cup tie after they beat Black Leopards 1-0 in the league on Tuesday, in a game which featured numerous scoring opportunities for Wits.

The Students beat Orlando Pirates on penalties in the round of 32 before a 2-0 win over Chippa United secured their place in the quarter-finals.

In the build-up to the game, Hunt revealed that he doesn't know a lot about their upcoming opponents.

"We will get a basic structure on them and phone a few people to find out about them and prepare for the game," he said, as quoted by Sowetan Live.

Meanwhile, Real Kings will be dreaming of continuing their Nedbank Cup adventure after beating Passion and Mbombela United in the round of 32 and 16 respectively.

The National First Division outfit come into the clash on the back of a 1-0 win over Jomo Cosmos last weekend.

The three other quarter-finals include ties between Baroka and Black Leopards, Highlands Park and Mamelodi Sundowns, and TS Sporting and Bloemfontein Celtic.
