Barcelona secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano, with Joan Garcia delivering a standout performance that underlined his growing importance.

Rayo threatened from the first minute, exposing Barca's high line, but Garcia reacted quickly to keep the scores level. The hosts struggled to control the tempo early on, with the visitors pressing aggressively and breaking at pace.
