Goals from Murillo, Nicolo Savona and Morgan Gibbs-White gave Forest their biggest-ever win at Anfield and condemned Liverpool to an eighth defeat in 11 games in all competitions. Slot accepted full accountability for the team's poor form, dismissing officiating controversies and insisting that the responsibility lies with him.
