Magesi are in a relegation fight, sitting 14th in the league with 20 points. They are under pressure to stay in the top flight but have shown signs of improvement, winning two of their last three matches.

Their victories came against SuperSport United and Richards Bay, both by 1-0 scorelines, with a loss to Kaizer Chiefs sandwiched in between.

Arrows, under new coach Manqoba Mngqithi, are showing signs of progress. They held league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns to a 1-1 draw and recently secured a crucial 1-0 win against Polokwane City.

With several games in hand, Arrows are currently ninth and have the potential to break into the top eight.

At the same time on Saturday, Cape Town City will hope to end their eight-match winless run when they take on Marumo Gallants at Athlone Stadium.

With their last win coming in mid-January, the Citizens have been struggling, including five defeats and consecutive draws in their last two outings.

Gallants are also struggling, sitting in 15th place. Their recent 2-0 victory over Orlando Pirates was a rare bright spot, as they’ve won just one of their last eight league games.

In Saturday's late game (19h30) Chippa United will aim to end a three-match winless streak when they face Polokwane City at Buffalo City Stadium.

Currently 11th, Chippa are coming off a 1-0 loss to Orlando Pirates and have been struggling in recent games, including two consecutive losses and a draw.

Rise and Shine, once in good form, have been struggling lately, failing to win in their last five matches. Their most recent loss came against Arrows, leaving them in 6th position, far from their earlier high.

On Sunday, Stellenbosch will look to extend their unbeaten run to eight matches as they face Sekhukhune United at Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Their last loss came in early February, and since then, they’ve secured three wins and four draws, placing them 4th in the standings.

Sekhukhune, managed by Eric Tinkler, have had a mixed run of form. However, a recent 2-1 victory over Gallants helped them leapfrog Stellenbosch into 3rd place, making this an exciting clash between two sides in good form.
