AmaKhosi have gathered momentum at a crucial stage of the season, registering three consecutive victories, including a come-from-behind 3-1 win over ORBIT College in Gqeberha. That result lifted them to third place on the log with 39 points from 21 matches, strengthening their push for CAF Confederation Cup qualification.

Despite the encouraging run, co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef has urged caution, insisting the team must remain focused on consistency rather than lofty ambitions.

"First position, second position, we are fighting in the league. We are fighting for the best position that we can do," said Ben Youssef.

"If we can fight for the first position, we'll fight. If it will be the second position we'll fight. But I think the most important thing is to finish in the top three, that's the minimum that we can do this season."

Chiefs now turn their attention to TS Galaxy, a side that has struggled for consistency and currently sits 12th on the table. The Rockets come into the clash on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Polokwane City, but Ben Youssef is wary of the threat they pose.

"TS Galaxy will give us a difficult game, but we will plan and the most important thing is that we only think about our performance," he said.

"We have to stay focused and not enjoy the three points against Orbit College too much."

Galaxy will be boosted by the return of Patrick Fisher from suspension, though they remain without Mlungisi Mbunjana, Junior Zindoga and Lentswe Motaung.

Chiefs, meanwhile, are reinforced by the return of defender Inacio Miguel.

With the reverse fixture ending 0-0, Sunday's encounter offers AmaKhosi a chance to show their recent progress is built on discipline rather than momentum alone.
