The England forward has scored seven goals and provided 11 assists in 24 appearances for the La Liga leaders this campaign.

Speaking at a charity event for The Barca Foundation, Rashford said he feels settled in Catalonia and is focused on helping Barcelona win trophies. "I'm adapting very well to the club and the city," he said.

"From the moment I arrived, I felt that everyone welcomed me very well. For me, the reason I'm here is to help the team win titles."

The 28-year-old acknowledged that he has faced competition on the wings, with Hansi Flick preferring Raphinha and Lamine Yamal in recent matches.

Rashford has started in just three of the past eight games in all competitions, but he said this has not dampened his ambition. "Of course what I want is to stay at Barca. It's an end goal, but it's not the reason why I'm training hard and giving it my best. The purpose is to win. Barca is a huge, fantastic club, built to win titles," he added.

Rashford's form this season has also strengthened his case for England selection ahead of next summer's World Cup. "There is pressure here, but it is not a negative pressure," he said. "It's the one you want as a player, the one I want and have always wanted as a footballer.

"I'm in the perfect place and environment to continue my journey as a football player, so I just try to do my best every day and help the team win. We'll see what happens next summer."

At Manchester United, Rashford fell out of favour under Ruben Amorim, who took charge in December 2024. He spent part of last season on loan at Aston Villa before moving to Barcelona on a season-long deal this summer, with the Catalan club holding an option to buy for around 26 million pounds.

Barcelona currently lead La Liga by four points ahead of Real Madrid and have won seven consecutive matches since their Champions League defeat at Chelsea in November. Rashford will return to action after the winter break in a local derby against Espanyol on January 3.
