"I know what you need to survive in the Premier League, which I didn't have at Norwich," he said. "Proper backing makes it more likely you stay up. Farke pointed to the struggles of other promoted sides like Ipswich Town, Southampton, and Leicester City, noting their heavy spending failed to secure survival. "You can see the numbers they spent, but it wasn't enough," he said.

At Norwich, he recalled, "We spent about eight million pounds and still had more points than some promoted teams last season."

Despite the speculation, Farke enjoys a strong relationship with Leeds United's director, Paraag Marathe. "We have a really trustful relationship," he said. "I spoke with Paraag last evening. We're working on a clear budget, contract decisions, and squad planning."
