Jacksa Spears vs CR Vasco Da Gama ensures at least one third-tier side reaches the quarter-finals, a rarity in Nedbank Cup history. Upington City face promoted Durban City, who won both league meetings last season. Sekhukhune United travel to University of Pretoria, renewing a rivalry from their Motsepe Foundation Championship days.
