The Rockets parted ways with Beganovic just two weeks before the showpiece encounter, following a difficult run of results in the Betway Premiership.

In response, the club moved swiftly to appoint former Kaizer Chiefs striker Bernard Parker as interim head coach to lead the team into the final.

Despite the disruption, Mbunjana has stressed the importance of acceptance and adaptability within the squad, insisting that the players must remain focused on the bigger picture.

"Yeah, it's so unfortunate that in the game that we play, of course things like this happen and those tough decisions to be made. So you just have to accept and adjust as quick as possible," Mbunjana told the media after their training session in Johannesburg this week.

He added that the ability to adapt quickly to new leadership will be key for TS Galaxy as they prepare for one of the biggest matches in the club's history.

"The quicker you accept that, then the better because you need to move on and look forward to the next game, to the next chapter," he said.

"And be able to respond better and as quick as possible to the next coach or whoever is going to be in charge.

"So it's just a matter of accepting and taking it as it comes and hoping that the changes will yield good results. That's what we are hoping for."

Mbunjana believes that unity and professionalism within the squad will be crucial if TS Galaxy are to overcome the challenges posed by the sudden coaching change and perform at their best in the final.

The Nedbank Cup final is scheduled to take place at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, 2 May.
