Mamelodi Sundowns face a stern test against TS Galaxy. The Rockets won their last league meeting, but Sundowns lead the head-to-head 8-2, with two draws. Lamontville Golden Arrows host Stellenbosch FC in a clash between experienced coaches Manqoba Mngqithi and Gavin Hunt, with Arrows coming off a 3-0 win over Orbit College.

KwaZulu-Natal derbies include Milford FC vs Mkhambathi FC, marking the latter’s debut in the Last 16, and Richards Bay vs AmaZulu, a first-ever cup clash. Jacksa Spears vs CR Vasco Da Gama ensures at least one third-tier side reaches the quarter-finals, a rarity in Nedbank Cup history. Upington City face promoted Durban City, who won both league meetings last season. Sekhukhune United travel to University of Pretoria, renewing a rivalry from their Motsepe Foundation Championship days.
