Liverpool, fresh off securing Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike for 79 million pounds, remain keen on Isak, with sources indicating they could prepare a record-breaking 120 million-pound bid. Romano added, "Liverpool have confirmed to Newcastle their intention to present a record bid for Isak, but it depends on Newcastle changing their stance."

However, Newcastle have set a staggering 150 million-pound valuation on their talisman, a figure that would shatter the Premier League's transfer record if met.

Amid this uncertainty, Newcastle are not standing still. David Ornstein of The Athletic reported, "Newcastle United are exploring a move for Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig in case Alexander Isak leaves."
