Once Wirtz's move is complete, Liverpool are ready to pursue Barcola, the 22-year-old PSG winger who delivered 21 goals and 14 assists last season. The Reds are prepared to battle Bayern Munich for the 100-million-pound-rated Frenchman, whose role at PSG has diminished, making him a prime target.

Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey, while praising Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo as a potential Salah successor, told Prime Casino: "I would have loved to have seen Bryan Mbeumo at Anfield with Liverpool.
