Dragusin becomes Tottenham’s second signing of the January transfer window with German striker Timo Werner making his return to the Premier League on loan from RB Leipzig - and the pair could both make their debuts in the upcoming fixture against Manchester United.

2. Dragusin can use the ball effectively, with an impressive passing accuracy of 82.8% and the ability to play a successful long ball over 30% of the time.

3. The young centre-half is a whopping 6ft 3ins which is just shy of Virgil van Dijk’s 6ft 4ins frame and means he is taller than both Robert Lewandowski and Cristiano Ronaldo.

4. Dragusin rejected a move to German giants Bayern Munich after giving his word to Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou that he would join Spurs.

5. He has been known for his aggressive play on the ball and confidence to not shy away from a tackle, that being said he has only been booked once this season and hasn’t seen a red card in the previous two seasons.

6. Dragusin has the ability to play at either centre-back position, typically playing on the left side though he is right-footed - making him the perfect recruit in an injury crisis.

7. Dragusin has only been dribbled past a single time this season in his 19 Serie A starts.

8. When younger, he was brought into the Juventus first-team training sessions to learn from veteran defenders Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini, with the latter mentioned as being disappointed when the defender left Juventus.

9. Both his parents represented Romania internationally, his father playing volleyball and his mother being a basketball player.

10. Juventus paid 250,000 euros for Dragusin to join their youth set-up as both Chelsea and PSG were interested in the player.
