Chippa and Orbit sit in 16th and 15th place respectively, both win-starved and staring at the grim prospect of a relegation dogfight before the season has even gathered pace.

Durban City v Siwelele FC

While the Chippa-Orbit clash is about survival, Durban City's meeting with Siwelele offers a narrative of ambition versus frustration.

Durban City have enjoyed a respectable start under seasoned coach Gavin Hunt, collecting two wins, two draws, and one defeat. Their only loss came before the break against Sekhukhune United, and sitting sixth on the table with eight points, they will want to reaffirm their credentials as a top-half team with a win here.

Siwelele, in contrast, are battling inconsistency. After starting the campaign brightly, they stumbled to three consecutive defeats before managing a goalless draw against Richards Bay in their last outing.

With just one victory in five games and four points to show, they are in 11th place - far from where a squad with their experience and expectations should be. Their supporters, known for demanding high standards, will be restless unless the team quickly turns the corner.
