Elsewhere, Tshepo Mashigo, Motsie Matima and Thabang Sibanyoni were all on target in a convincing display from bottom team Magesi in a 3-0 win over Marumo Gallants.

Magesi remain rooted to the foot of the standings, but now within just one point of 15th-placed Orbit College.

Gallants may have taken an early lead but Washington Arubi was equal to a Christopher Sithole's effort.

Mashigo fired in the opener midway through the opening half and came close to a second when a header by Mashigo sailed inches wide of the net.

Matima came on for the injured Samuel Darpoh and headed home a good Mcedisi Vandala delivery.

Substitute Sibanyoni was then left with an easy finish in stoppage time at the end of the match.

Gallants ended the evening in 14th place with 18 points from 23 matches played.
