Tensions escalated when Garnacho posted an Instagram photo during United's post-season tour in Ibiza, wearing an Aston Villa shirt with Marcus Rashford's name and number. "That was the final straw," a source close to the club told the Daily Mail, noting Amorim's decision to exclude him from future plans.
