Orlando Pirates will be looking to do a cup double this season with with victory over Sekhukhune United in the Nedbank Cup on Saturday.

The Buccaneers have been revived under Jose Riveiro and claimed the MTN8 earlier on in the campaign with a victory over AmaZulu.

They ended their DStv Premiership season with a 4-0 rout of Usuthu to end in second place and secure a CAF Champions League spot.

Brandon Truter has revitalised Babina Noko and he guided his side to seventh place after joining the club when they were in 14th position.

Truter admits that Bucs are the favourites for the tie, and ahead of the clash, he said: "We are underdogs. Everything is in Pirates' corner, but being underdogs also releases a bit of pressure. The pressure is on Pirates to win another cup, but for us, it is about the occasions and being the underdogs, we welcome the tag as well.

"Pirates have won the MTN8 already, they have a cup pedigree and have played in so many finals.

"I have few players that played in the final, but for the club and the team as a whole, it is an occasion for us and an historic event. We will make the most of it and take as much as we can from the occasion."

Riveiro added: "That we're favourites doesn't mean it's going to be an easy game because we're Orlando Pirates. We have to be mentally prepared for a difficult game because first of all it's a final and second it's a very difficult team.

"They [Sekhukhune] showed it a few times this season, especially when the they played against the favourites. We know what's coming and we know the amount of kilometres and runs we have to do in this game if we want to be a winning team at the end of 90 or 120 minutes."

Sekhukhune had the better of Pirates in the league this season, with a 2-0 home win in the first round before drawing away 1-1 in recent weeks.
