It was another impressive performance from the South Africans, who appear to be adapting well to Mosimane's tactics. Bafana showed their quality throughout the match, with several players producing standout displays as they cruised to a convincing victory.

Here is how each player performed, with ratings out of 10.

Ronwen Williams - 5/10

It was an uncomfortable start for the Bafana captain, who could have conceded early following a couple of clumsy moments. However, Williams settled as the game progressed and made some important saves to keep Eritrea at bay.

Kamogelo Sebelebele - 7/10

Another strong performance from the right-back, who was eager to get forward and contribute to Bafana's attacking play. There were moments when Eritrea tried to test him, but Sebelebele dealt with the danger well.

Olwethu Makhanya - 8/10

Makhanya appears to be enjoying his football in the national team. He was composed at the back and consistently available to deal with danger, particularly when Eritrea looked to attack from the wide areas.

Ime Okon - 8/10

Another excellent performance from the centre-back. Okon and Makhanya are developing a solid partnership, with the pair covering for each other well and communicating effectively. Okon made several important interceptions to frustrate Eritrea's attackers.

Samukele Kabini - 8.5/10

Kabini has quickly become an important player in this Bafana setup. Since replacing the injured Aubrey Modiba, he has slotted into the team seamlessly. His marking was excellent, while his vision and ability to pick out teammates with accurate passes stood out again.

Relebohile Mofokeng - 9.5/10

A deserved Man-of-the-Match award for Mofokeng after an explosive display. The youngster was a constant threat and capped his performance with a brace.

Bathusi Aubaas - N/A

Unfortunately, Aubaas was forced off with an injury less than 15 minutes into the match and did not spend enough time on the pitch to receive a rating.

Sphephelo Sithole - 8.5/10

Sithole produced an excellent performance in midfield and capped his display with a goal. He provided energy and helped Bafana maintain control in the middle of the park.

Oswin Appollis - 9.5/10

Appollis was outstanding and played a major role in Bafana's attacking display, providing three assists. He could also have got on the scoresheet himself, and his performance would certainly have given the selectors plenty to think about when choosing between him and Mofokeng for the Man-of-the-Match award.

Thapelo Maseko - 7.5/10

Maseko was his usual skilful and pacey self down the right wing. His delivery was not always at its best, but he remained a constant threat and appears to have carried his good form from the World Cup into this latest Bafana campaign. He looks well placed to remain a regular under Mosimane.

Iqraam Rayners - 6.5/10

Rayners scored Bafana's fourth goal in the second half with a typically powerful finish from a tight angle. He had a decent outing and worked hard for the team.

Substitutes

Brooklyn Poggenpoel - 8/10

Poggenpoel came on for the injured Aubaas to make his Bafana debut. But the midfielder was composed, great on the ball and won a lot of duels in midfield which helped Bafana to control game.

Lebone Seema - 6/10

Seema looked relaxed after replacing Makhanya late in the second half. He defended well and remained composed when in possession.

Luther Singh - 6.5/10

Singh came on for Maseko in the 74th minute and made an impact during his limited time on the pitch, scoring Bafana's fifth goal.

Cassius Mailula - 5/10

Mailula replaced Rayners later in the match but did not have enough time to make a significant impact. He was unable to show the same qualities that have seen him impress for Mamelodi Sundowns.

Themba Zwane - N/A

Zwane was not on the pitch long enough to receive a rating.
